The center of the study appears to be solidly in line with the figure of about 9.5 millions... though admittedly the data is slightly dated, by about a year. It will be very interesting to revisit/re-do this study in about a year to see what impact 9/11 has had, to determine whether illegal aliens are becoming unemployed and leaving the country, or if American workers are the ones losing their jobs to illegal aliens. Given the history of the unscrupulous employers who prefer to hire illegal aliens rather than unskilled/uneducated US workers, I expect that the only thing that happened was that a lot of American lost even more work to illegal aliens. -- Be kind to your neighbors, even though they be transgenic chimerae.
