  •     The Purple Line “Y” Route:
    A Community-Friendly, Trans-Beltway Metrorail Line

Using the Georgetown Branch Alignment .
  •     The Crosstown Line:
Envisioning Metrorail’s number one expansion priority after Tysons-Dulles .
  •     The “Brown Line”:
A two-stage “Hybrid” Metrorail proposal would incorporate the proposed National Airport light rail .
  •      About The Tysons Loop Proposal:
Virginia is studying how many Metro stops Tysons Corner can support.  This section will also be the first piece of the “Purple Line” to be built, and is expected to be the number one ridership generator relative to any completed Purple Line.  What Virginia decides to invest today will tremendously affect the viability of completing the Purple Line on the Maryland side in the future.  What we do know is that they have decided to invest in heavy rail rapid transit; Virginia commuters will accept no less.
